The Parents Estate Planning Law Firm is a fast-growing estate planning law firm in Acton, MA, focused on the unique estate planning needs of both young families and empty nesters. We provide exceptional client service in the areas of kids protection planning, wills, trusts, estates, and asset protection.
To be a successful candidate for this position, you will have 2-4 years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably with some estate planning background.

Responsibilities:
- Connect with clients via email and phone to share and collect documents and information, updating client database.
- Put the client at ease, ensure they are being well taken care of.
- Prepare planning and funding documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Analyze and review client’s assets and properly transfer them to their Trust by creating necessary financial institution forms and document packages for clients.
- Communicate with outside contractors, financial advisors, and financial institutions to ensure that planning deadlines are met.
- Ensure Attorneys are prepared for the week ahead and that everything needed for a signing meeting is prepared and in office prior to signing.
- Provide stellar service to our clients.
- Update and create checklists for Standard Operating Procedures as your work evolves.
- Create and update reports for weekly, monthly, and quarterly staff meetings.
- Participates in weekly team meetings with owners, staff, and attorneys.
Education and Experience Required:
The Estate Planning Paralegal should have educational background at the bachelor’s degree level or should have 2-3 years of work experience within the legal field, ideally as a full-time Paralegal.
Experience communicating with people in a professional environment. Ability to establish connections with clients and provide excellent customer service.
Quick learning, self-motivated, detail-oriented.
Experienced in technology, including Microsoft Office, Dropbox, Visio, Adobe Acrobat and Clio.
